Works restarting on 13 June

As you are aware highway improvement works on Gore Street started in January 2022.

The scheme is now nearing completion and we wanted to let you know that our team will be coming back to Gore Street on Monday 13 June to complete the outstanding works. We sincerely apologise for the delay, caused by materials supply issues, and any inconvenience.

The works starting on 13 June will consist of the following:

  • Installation of new street lighting columns
  • Commissioning of electrical connections
  • Footpath resurfacing
  • Please note that pedestrian and vehicle access will not be affected by these works, however, temporary width restrictions may be in place to allow our team to work safely.

    About the scheme

Gore Street Improvements, a Bee Network scheme funded through the Mayor’s Challenge Fund, helps to establish a comprehensive network of walking and cycling routes and enhance public spaces in Salford city centre.

The scheme has created safer spaces for pedestrians and cyclists with better facilities and connectivity to neighbouring developments. The project supports the opening of railway arches and seamlessly connects Chapel Street to New Bailey.

Once again, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

If you wish to discuss the extent of the works or any other issues you may have, please contact our customer liaison team on admin@rosgal.co.uk

    Yours sincerely,

    Rosgal Ltd
