News on Gore Street Improvement Works

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and for the safety of the public as well as the contractors on site, a road closure is required on Gore Street at the junction with Trinity Way. This closure will be in place from 9am Monday 21 February until 5pm Thursday 24 February (4 days).

During this time alternative access will be made available via New Bailey Street and the no entry on Gore Street at the New Bailey Junction will be temporarily suspended. This will allow for access only to residents and businesses on Gore Street.

Please note vehicular access will not be permitted from the junction with Trinity Way. A diversion route will be in place via Irwell Street, Gartside Street and the A34 New Bailey Street with diversion signs being posted on site. However, pedestrian footways will be accessible at all times.
